This Festival of Postcards is Dedicated to All Things White. This is such a beautiful vintage post card of a pretty woman in black hat with flower, red coat with white fur collar and matching muff . All around her is white snow. The post card is titled White Beauty and is #110 copyrighted 1906 C S Porter Chicago.
This wonderful card was post marked 1909 and mailed to George Merches of Elbow Lake Minn. The date is hard to make out but looks like July 12 1909. Strange card to mail in July.
The card is from George's sister Gertrude . She says

When you have a moment,it would be helpful, if you would copy the url into your post to help people move back and forth between the different entries.
Thank you again for your entry and your support in promoting the Festival. Both are greatly appreciated.

What I most like about this card is the young lady's innocent - maybe expectant gaze. The artist captured it so beautifully and I think it was a great choice for the White Festival.
