Happy Thanksgiving on Friendship Friday. Here is another of the wonderful vintage postcards I found while Antiquing.
What a petty young woman dressed in a vintage costume. Postmarked postcard are always my favorite. Shows us history. This one is postmarked Nov 21 1913 Bakerfield California to Percy Friend O'Fallon Ill from uncle Charlie and Aunt Nel ( maybe hard to read her name).
Have a happy Friendship Friday and thanks for visiting. To check out the other Friendship Friday posts start out at.

Happy PFF! Thank you for stopping by. I'll be back to check out all of your wonderful post cards - loved the one's from Mass.
ReplyDeleteI hope to post some vintage Thanksgiving postcards, too, but probably closer to Thanksgiving. I love the postmarked and messaged ones, too.
ReplyDeleteMy son would happily chow down that pineapple. He is obsessed with the fruit. We are going to have to move to Paraguay in order to appease his appetite! What a beautiful card!
ReplyDeleteI absolutely adore this postcard! What a beauty. Thank you for sharing her--and a Happy PFF to you!
ReplyDeleteAwesome card. I have a card up today for PFF.
ReplyDeleteA beautiful card, and interesting too. That looks exactly like a Christmas plum pudding to me and if it weren't for the pineapple and bananas, and I suppose the chrysanthemums, it could well be a Christmas dinner.
ReplyDeleteIt's a pretty card, but it seems like many of the artists that designed Thanksgiving postcards had no idea of what a Thanksgiving dinner looked like.
ReplyDeleteGreat Thanksgiving card. Makes me look forward to the holiday itself!
ReplyDeleteHappy American Thanksgiving - I'll have to pull this one out and take another look next year before my Thanksgiving!
ReplyDeleteBy the way, I'm like you. I prefer used postcards and if there's a message on the back, then that's perfect!
