One more beautiful vintage Valentine in my collection. Postmarked 1912 from Kansas to Iowa.
To My Valentine with pretty red hearts and a country scene. Postcard is addressed to Miss Gladys Myers in Iowa from Aunt Flo. So sad when these pieces of history stray from the family members.
Happy Friendship Friday and thanks for stopping by.. Please visit other postings by visiting http://www.blogger.com/post-create.g?blogID=7888884170245697753
Beautiful card. I just can't see too many valentines... love 'em.
ReplyDeleteOld postcards with writing on them are my favorites! Happy PFF.
ReplyDeleteWould Miss Gladys Myers have been a child? In the UK it's really only couple who send each other Valentines. You're so right that it's sad when the family loses any of its history.
ReplyDeleteChildren's valentines are very popular here. Even the old valentine postcards were often used by children.
ReplyDeleteHow pretty! Have a wonderful Valentine's Day!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pff.
ReplyDeleteLove the colors- And the font used on the word Valentine is especially neat. Happy late PFF!
ReplyDeleteThis is so pretty! Love it.
ReplyDeleteFabulous postcard with so must vintage love.
