Hubby and I headed to Galveston this last Friday to go to some estate sales. One house was from 1902 and huge. Found a couple of books to put up for sale on eBay. Stopped at this huge old cemetery to take pictures for my other blog.
We love to sit and look at the water. Had some Mexican for lunch and headed back to home. Love Galveston , wish it was closer to us. So here is another of my vintage Galveston postcards..
This one is colorful Oleanders in Bloom.
Postmarked 1946 from Galveston
" Got Back to the old hometown and everything looks swell
have a cottage less than a block from the seashore
and the water is fine and the seafood is not fattening. Come on down and
we will ride the waves.
